Dapagliflozin is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Type 2 diabetes mellitus:
    • Treatment of insufficiently controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus in patients aged 18 and above as an adjunct to diet and exercise
    • Monotherapy when metformin is considered inappropriate due to intolerance.
  • Heart Failure: treatment of symptomatic chronic heart failure in adults
  • Chronic kidney disease in adults.
  • ATC4: A10BX
  • Strengths: 5mg & 10mg
  • Dosage Form: Tablets
